Welcome

Welcome to my blog. My hope is that you will be blessed by it and come to a deeper realization of God's love and His will for our lives and His will for His Church. Aswell as His Gospel. As I hit on topics such as Biblical Family life and Biblical Church life and much more I pray you will be positively encouraged and inspired to live more biblically and to "grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ - 2 Peter 3:18" To God be all the Glory!

Grace and Peace,

"Every Christian is either a missionary or an imposter" -Spurgeon
That's what Spurgeon said in the late 1800's. According to that quote, Christians back then did not share thier faith as much as they should. I guess that has been the case since Jesus' time. However, only 2% of modern day American Christians share thier faith actively. This statistic shows that many who claim to be Christians are not.

It absolutely amazes me that Christains in America do not actively share their faith.
It's ridiculous and it is sad.  I apreciate what Spurgeon had to say about the most important aspect of the Christian life.
"If there be any point in which the Christian church ought to keep it's fervor at a white heat,is concerning missions. If there be anythingabout which we cannot tolerate lukewarmness, it is the matter of sending the gospel into a dying world."
So Christians let's go and preach the Gospel to every creature! Our attitude should not be "We have to do this" but "We get to do it"!!!

Many Christians in America get caught up in Christian "culture (homeschooling, large families, gardneing, etc) and this is all great (and for the record I love homeschooling and big families and gardening) but we are missing something...EVANGELISM. If we added this I know that the Lord would bless the Chritain community and that false conversions would lessen. So Go find a lost person and bring them throught the Ten commandments, to bring about the knowledge of sin. Then preach the reality of judgement. Then repentance and faith and the Gospel. For more help and resources visit http://www.livingwaters.com/.

Visiting W/ the Duggar Family.

Myself and my freinds had a great time, eating with the Duggars and Ray Comfort at a Pizza place in Wash. D.C. Ray Comfort and his team from Living Waters came to D.C. to train the Duggar boys to open-air preach. Ray has been an ispiration to me for a long time. It was so neat to meet these nice brothers and siters in the Lord.

Encouragement from a Keith Green Song

"Like a foolish dreamer trying to build a highway to the sky, all my hopes would come tumbling down and I never knew just why. Until today when you pulled away the clouds that hung like curtians on my eyes well I've been blind all these wasted years when I thought I was so wise, but then you took my by surprise... Your love broke through. I've been lost in a fantasy that blinded me, unitl your love broke thorugh!"
-Keit Green Your Love Broke Through

Thank you Father God that "while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!" -Romans 5:8
Even though we rebelled against you, your awesome love broke through our sin and we were rescued, by Jesus' atoning work on the Cross!

Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.

Jesus, Thank You!

This is a line from a song we sing in my Church:

"You're Blood has washed away my sin, Jesus, Thank you,
The Fathers wrath completely satisfied, Jesus, Thank you,
Once your enemy, now seated at your Table, Jesus, Thank you!"

Talk about amazing Love and Amazing Grace!
The Fathers wrath is completely satisfied for those who are in Christ Jesus!

Wisdom from a former President...

"I am sure that never was a people, who had more reason to acknowledge a Divine interposition in thier affairs, than those of the United States; and I should be pained to believe that they have forgotten that agency, which was so often manifested during our Revolution, or that they failed to consider the omnipotence of that God who is alone able to protect them." -George Washington
The evidence for God's existence everywhere! He has lavished His blessings upon the US. And we have His wonderful Creation to observe!

The Radical Gospel

Never be content with your grasp of the Gospel
The gospel is life-permeating, world altering, universe-changing truth.
It has more facets then any diamond. Its depths man will never exhaust.

Doug Phillips on the American Crisis...

"America is in crisis. The State is taking the place of God, the family, and the church. Churches don't know what it means to be true churches. Christians don't know what it means to follow Christ. Church members don't know the importance of the church. Families don't know how to be families. Men don't know how to be men. Women don't know what it means to be women. Children don't know what it means to honor authority."
We need to get back to the basics and seek God's good pleasing and perfect will...from the world??? No. From man??? No. From traditions??? No. From the Holy Word of the Living God!
The Bible is were we need to look for answers.

We are HIS servants.

I appreciate what Philip Lancaster has to say about God's soveriegnty. In his book Family Man, Family Leader said "In all our prayers we need to remember that God is soveriegn and will do as he pleases. He is not a genie who, when summoned from a bottle, is obligated to give us three wishes. We are His servants; He is not our servant."
