I am 19 years old and by the Grace of God I am fleeing the "evil desires of youth -2 Tim. 2:22." Instead I am focusing my mind on purity, preparing for marriage. In addition, I am seeking God's will and learning about God and about His desire for Christian's lives through His word. It is my hearts desire to express what God has been convicting me of and showing me in this blog in hopes that the reader will be challenged and blessed.
Welcome
Welcome to my blog. My hope is that you will be blessed by it and come to a deeper realization of God's love and His will for our lives and His will for His Church. Aswell as His Gospel. As I hit on topics such as Biblical Family life and Biblical Church life and much more I pray you will be positively encouraged and inspired to live more biblically and to "grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ - 2 Peter 3:18" To God be all the Glory!
Grace and Peace,

I have been enjoying his sermons as well. It is not often that you hear a preacher that speaks the truth like he does.
ReplyDeleteHere is a description I found on the Internet that aptly describes Paul Washer:
ReplyDeletePaul Washer is a missionary, prophet and biblical expositor who will immediately make you angry if you are a false convert. You might as well be warned right now. Paul is not going to give you "Your best life now." He's going to proclaim the whole counsel of God, like it or not! But if you are a genuine believer, you will be rejoicing and praising God and saying, "why don't I hear THIS from my pastor?!" The answer is obvious... Most churches are more inclined to pad the church rolls and preach a seeker sensitive feel good message that gets the lost people in your community to join and give to the "great christian enterprise." If you want to hear what real preaching sounds like, if you want to hear the WHOLE truth of God proclaimed, teaching, reproof, training in righteousness.. then Paul is one of the few in a time when good biblical preaching is "out of season."
Jeff and Kristen, I am happy you all are enjoying his sermons aswell. I hope you guys are well.
ReplyDeleteJeff C Great description. Paul Washer's sermons can really help seperate the sheep from the goats!
