I am 19 years old and by the Grace of God I am fleeing the "evil desires of youth -2 Tim. 2:22." Instead I am focusing my mind on purity, preparing for marriage. In addition, I am seeking God's will and learning about God and about His desire for Christian's lives through His word. It is my hearts desire to express what God has been convicting me of and showing me in this blog in hopes that the reader will be challenged and blessed.
Welcome
Welcome to my blog. My hope is that you will be blessed by it and come to a deeper realization of God's love and His will for our lives and His will for His Church. Aswell as His Gospel. As I hit on topics such as Biblical Family life and Biblical Church life and much more I pray you will be positively encouraged and inspired to live more biblically and to "grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ - 2 Peter 3:18" To God be all the Glory!

Family Integrated Church....
In most Churches today families are split up.What I mean by "split up" is how so many Churches take away the children and send them to age segragated ministries such as "kids church", where the children are taught very simple and watered down Bible stories. Also Churches split up families through youth group and other youth ministries. Such things as youth group and kids church are not only very unfruitfull but also unbiblical. So then why do Churches implement such "ministries". So as the Church seperates the family...God calls us to be unified, take Psalm 133:1 for example: "Behold, how good and pleasent it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" This verse paints a beatiful picture for a truly biblical Church. And believe it or not there are Churches that follow these biblical principles. I am happy to attend one. Such Churches are called Family Integrated Churches. Believe it or not, the entire family, including babies and kids stay in the service, as is biblical. No youth group, no watered down Sunday School material. Just family integrated events. Check out http://www.ncfic.org/ to find a local Family Integrated Church and http://www.visionforum.com/ to obtain more information. Brethren let's dwell together...through the whole service and throughout the whole week. Enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving.

Wisdom from a former President
Abraham Lincoln once said, "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Isn't our current culture a fulfillment of his prophecy? We are losning our morality, our faith and our freedoms! People are denying our countries Biblically based foundation and many are rejecting the Lord! Now is a more important time than ever to obey Paul's command and "shine among them like stars" - Phil. 2:15. Let's shine like stars in a dark and a lost world!

Being a Man of God
"But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses." -1 Timothy 6:11-12
A Man of God:
Has faith in God (Psalm 34:8),
Is Humble (1Peter 5:5-7),
Is Brave (Joshua 1:7)
Is zealous towards the things of God (Titus 2:11-14).
And a true Man of God is actually much more than that: He is a pure single man, or a loyal husband and loving father. He bears much good fruit in his life. As men and women of God we are called to live Christ honoring lives. I want to be a true man of God, I have a long way to go. But I am thankful for the Lord helping me to push forward.
Thankful for the Cross,

In the Grip of Grace
When I think about the Cross I am humbled and so very grateful. I am amazed God gave His son.
Knowing the good News of the Cross is great. However for Jesus sacrifice to really sink in we must come to a full understanding of what we were before He came. We were sinners! Miserable decietful wretches. We were rotten to the core. We were in complete rebellion against God.
Then God sent his one and only Son! Jesus did come and He died on that Cross and endured the beatings and experienced seperation from God for us! Just think "while we were still sinners Christ died for us -Rom. 5:8" I Praise the Lord for His Grace. When we realize how dreadfully lost we were before Christ we come to appreciate the Gospel in a whole new way! It is very important to realize this and to explain this to those to whom we witness.
